Yesterday the shooting for our summer catalogue took place. We are really happy with the result. Stay tuned for more pictures.
Photographer was usual Raffael Waldner, he's just such a good photographer and I'm so happy that he still does our shootings.

I still love to browse through the commons on flickr . Recently I discovered these fantastic pictures. They are from the State Library of Queensland, Australia.
I love about everything on these pictures. The super nice girls who look so totally happy and so natural. The outstanding bathing suits and the beach dresses. I would love to have one like that. But most of all these are some very good photos. The photographers are unknown. The pictures are taken between 1940 and 1955.

I have to admit my first thoughts upon seeing pictures of the 13 years old teenager at the fashions shows weren't very positive ones.
Anyway, we recently had this discussion at the job about fashion blogs were bitching about that little girl and how ridiculous it's that she is invited to the shows. I forgot about tavi for some days but luckily kathleen reminded my of the whole issue in a recent blog post.
So I finally went to check Style rookie Tavi Gevinson blog and I have to admit to took my breath away. The girl is an artist! intelligent and highly talented, I clearly understand why fashion people call here a source of inspiration or even a muse. On one hand there are these self-portraits from her in these amazing outfits her explanations and thoughts on the outfits are well worth reading. Then there are here collages, all little works of art. Her thoughts on fashion. for me, are a better read than those of many of the fashion bloggers out there.

We are back from Copenhagen, the weather was nice and the style up there was once again very fascinating.
Lot's and lot's of wide sarouel like pants in beautiful floral fabrics.
But not just any floral patterns most collections used the beautiful Liberty London fabrics.
I'm looking forward to next summer already :-)
Meanwhile I recommend scrolling through huge fabric pool Liberty has on their website. And if you can't wait till next summer why not order the fabric and tailor something by yourself.
This shoes has been featured in every good blog recently and I want one!
Unfortunately we wont have them in the store :-( maybe I should try to get them in?
But probably it's just me who likes them so much, I'm really into the whole american lumberjack meets native american thing.
I'll probably cut up one of my 15 year old pendleton blankets and sew myself a nice coat.
Since I don't afford the lovely opening ceremony collaboration they did for this Winter.
Since I'm not very good in sewing I probably just order some more blankets....
