This shoes has been featured in every good blog recently and I want one!
Unfortunately we wont have them in the store :-( maybe I should try to get them in?
But probably it's just me who likes them so much, I'm really into the whole american lumberjack meets native american thing.
I'll probably cut up one of my 15 year old pendleton blankets and sew myself a nice coat.
Since I don't afford the lovely opening ceremony collaboration they did for this Winter.

Since I'm not very good in sewing I probably just order some more blankets....

I used to say the boat shoes are only cool if colorfull. I really don't like the brown ones, they look so " rich french pensioner"
But it all changes when they are suede. Look at this beauty! Almost a moccasin.
It can be bought at the lovely shop South Willard in Los Angeles. And is made in collaboration with Quoddy Trail Moccasin Company
My favorite from Quoddy would be this one though:

Ther is a new and very cool collection from Camper called Mediterranean Sneakers.
The collection is the embodiment of the Mediterranean and they offer a new twist on three icons of the Majorcan brand, using organic cotton and vulcanised soles.
Camaleon was the first Camper shoe. Born in 1975, the Camaleon was inspired by the footwear commonly worn in rural Majorca. A laced athletic shoe with a rubber toe cap.

Imar an urban deck shoe created to commemorate the 25th edition of the King’s Cup sailing race. Its rubber sole makes it abrasion-resistant and gives good grip and flexibility.

Peu, easy “In & Out” for maximum convenience. Useful details such as elasticised laces provide extra comfort and add a dash of colour. And for those with a more feminine taste, Mary Jane Peu with elasticised laces too.

Are you looking for nice and comfortable summer shoes that don't cost a fortune? - Then I recommend you camper shoes.
This years summer collation is just beautiful. There is everything from really nice and very feminine summer sandals to hot wedges and very cool sneakers.

We stock over 40 different models in our Camper Store in Bern.
If you read this blog regularly you know I'm a huge fan of Hella Jongerius. So I was really happy to see that she did a collection for Camper Shoes.
"When Camper asked me whether I would like to design a new shop for them, or a new shoe, I didn't have to think much about it," says Jongerius. "I'm not a shoe designer, many designers before me have done an excellent job in defining all the intricate parts and detailing of a shoe, but being somebody with an eye for beautiful shoes I was intrigued by the challenge. So I decided to continue where the former shoe designers of Camper stopped. To be able to lean on their expertise, stand on their shoulders, so to speak, and work with the existing icons from the Camper archives, was a great opportunity for me."

She chose four existing shoes from Camper's archive, Pelotas, Imar, Peu and Brothers. While the styles needed no changes, improvements or reinterpretations, Jongerius highlighted their most defining features. The result of this process consists of two shoe collections, winter 2010 and summer 2010, which are a true homage to the icons of the Spanish company.
We will sell some of the shoes in our Camper shop this winter.

here are the first amazing sportshoe-hybrids.
the grey one is balenciaga, the brand i truly adore, of the spring '09 collection. i think the princip of that shoe is great because it appears in such an absurd way.
the second one is a collaboration of the italian shoe-brand sergio rossi with puma, which is for my taste a little bit too obvious, but still nice. welcome 90's..

..i'm back!
because my shoe budget is very limited lately i was on the search for some cheap, already worn to dead ( which is translated elegantly nowadays as "vintage") ankle- boots, or something else wearable in a "c'est froid- non c'est chaud- non maintenant c'est encore froid" phase in paris.
That means some essentials. i found those brown laced ankleboots at kiliwatch, one of the best adresses for second-hand in paris.
to rise bloodsugar after exhausting walking inbetween desperate fashionistas i went to buy some more essentials in the supermarket. french supermarkets are very VERY bad.
( the migros is statistically proven one of the reasons why suisse-emigrates miss theyr homecountry. oh yes.. a quiet tribute.)
in paris it feels always like you're entering directly a refrigerator. by passing frozen oliveoils and empty packages imported from countrys not even existing on a map i found that lovely product: brown sugar by "daddy". voted best sugar of the year. how could i resist. and could there be a more accurate name?-
